Building Bridges with Wisdom, Uniting Strengths to Go Global! Peking University 2026 Indonesia Study Tour Visits Wandin Group Indonesia

On September 15, 2026, the 2026 Indonesia Study Tour delegation from Peking University visited Wandin Group Indonesia and toured the Indonesia Service Hub of the Comprehensive Service Base for Chinese Enterprises “Going Global”, where they conducted on-site visits and in-depth panel discussions.

Led by Professor Zhai Kun from the Institute of Area Studies, Peking University; Professor Zhang Yanlong from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University; Professor Kong Tao from the China Family Panel Studies, Peking University; and Director Huang Junping from the Institute of Area Studies, Peking University, the delegation consists of Peking University experts, scholars and entrepreneur representatives from various domestic industries.

Chen Riling, Chairman of Wandin Group Indonesia, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He shared with the guests an overview of Indonesia’s market, industrial policies, investment opportunities and practical experience in local enterprise implementation.

During the panel discussion, Chairman Chen Riling drew on his hands-on experience to address core topics including investment in Indonesia’s special economic zones, supply chain layout, business risks and industrial park operation. He presented a true picture of Indonesia’s business landscape to academic and industry guests, analyzed opportunities and challenges in the Southeast Asian market, helped participants gain first-hand insights into Indonesia, and offered frontline practical references for Chinese enterprises expanding into Indonesia.

Experts and entrepreneurs of the delegation listened attentively and engaged in lively exchanges on topics such as China-Indonesia economic and trade ties, industrial synergy and cross-border investment. Professor Zhai Kun, Professor Zhang Yanlong, Professor Kong Tao and other entrepreneur representatives shared in-depth views with the Wandin team based on their respective research fields and industry experience, exchanging ideas extensively on university-industry collaboration and industrial overseas expansion.

This exchange has built a bridge for dialogue between university think tanks and overseas industrial platforms. Moving forward, Wandin Group Indonesia will continue to leverage the platform value of the Indonesia Service Hub of the Comprehensive Service Base for Chinese Enterprises “Going Global”. It will keep connecting academic and enterprise resources from China, helping more Chinese enterprises understand Indonesia, enter Indonesia and take root in Indonesia. The two sides will jointly deepen China-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation and explore the vast Southeast Asian market hand in hand.
