Wanxin Da Shines at the Boao Summit: Building Global Brand Influence and Pioneering a New Journey in the Indonesian Market
The tide surges on Hainan Island, and brands gather in force. On May 25th, the 2025 (9th) China Brand Boao Summit grandly opened in Hainan. This summit, themed “A Tribute to the May 10th China Brand Day: Building a New Future for Brand Development,” brought together leaders from relevant government ministries, representatives from local governments, industry experts, industrial park representatives, Fortune 500 brands, and outstanding entrepreneurs from various regions. They collectively focused on brand building in the new era, explored pathways for brand transformation and upgrading, and contributed wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of China’s economy.

The summit venue was graced by distinguished guests and luminaries. Zhang Zhigang, former Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Director of the Economic Committee of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC); Ke Bingsheng, former President of China Agricultural University, CPPCC National Committee member of the 12th session, and expert enjoying special government allowances at the vice-ministerial level; Lu Zhiyuan, former member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial People’s Congress, and current President of the Hainan Charity Federation; Liu Zhaobin, former Chief Engineer of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China; Li Honggang, President of China Business Magazine; and Jia Tao, Secretary-General of the China Brand Boao Summit, all gathered to add significant authority and professionalism to the event.
At the opening ceremony, Lu Zhiyuan, President of the Hainan Charity Federation and former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial People’s Congress, delivered a speech. He profoundly pointed out that brands are a comprehensive reflection of the competitiveness of enterprises and even nations, and an important symbol of “soft power” in the context of economic globalization. Against the backdrop of the current era, the integration of philanthropy and brand building is injecting new vitality and connotations into the development of Chinese brands. Faced with new opportunities and challenges in brand development, President Lu expressed three earnest hopes for the development of brands and philanthropy: brand building should be deeply rooted in philanthropic sentiment and demonstrate social responsibility; brand innovation should leverage philanthropic power to stimulate new development momentum; and brand development should be based in China while looking to the world, conveying the spirit of Chinese philanthropy. These remarks charted a clear direction for brand development and set a positive, socially responsible tone for the summit.

In the “China Brand Talk” session, Mr. Chen Riling, Chairman of Wanxin Da Holdings, delivered a captivating speech on the theme “The Next Twenty Years—Indonesia,” which attracted widespread attention and in-depth contemplation from the attendees. Drawing on his keen market insights and extensive industry experience, Mr. Chen conducted an in-depth analysis of the immense potential and strategic opportunities in the Indonesian market. He highlighted that Indonesia’s large demographic dividend, preferential tax policies, excellent investment environment, vast market potential, and positive development trend provide unique conditions for the international development of enterprises. Wanxin Da Holdings has seized these advantages of the Indonesian market and actively laid out its strategy. The “Wanxin Da Industrial Park in Batang National Economic Zone, Indonesia,” which is the only Chinese-funded project to be implemented and operational in an Indonesian park since 2019, is a flagship outcome of the alignment between China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Indonesia’s Global Maritime Fulcrum strategy. It also represents a concrete action to promote and advance China-Indonesia friendly cooperation. Mr. Chen’s speech not only showcased Wanxin Da Holdings’ forward-looking strategic layout but also provided valuable experience and reference for other enterprises to explore international markets.

In the highly anticipated award ceremony, Wanxin Da Holdings was honored with the title of “2025 (Industry) International Influence Enterprise” for its outstanding performance in brand building and international development. Mr. Chen Riling, the Chairman, was also awarded the title of “2025 (Industry) Brand Influence Person of the Year.” These honors are not only a high recognition of Wanxin Da Holdings’ past achievements but also an encouragement and spur for its future development. In the process of brand building, Wanxin Da Holdings has always adhered to the concepts of innovation, quality, and responsibility, continuously enhancing the core competitiveness of its brand and actively expanding into international markets.
